So I am behind again this month...don't have any new love tips just yet. The non-profit of the month is still Friends Outside and will be through September since I had to shut down the site for a little bit. Speaking of shutting down the site...it should be up and running by the end of August. I'd like to have it done sooner, but the timing isn't working out like I want. For the months of August and September, one dollar of every shirt purchased will be donated to the Friends Outside National Organization. "Friends Outside is dedicated to breaking the cycle of crime and delinquency and preserving families. We believe that by aggressively addressing the factors that cause violence, child and spousal abuse, and criminal lifestyles, we can significantly reduce crime, delinquency and their devastating effect on our society." A statistic that turned my head was, "Children of incarcerated parents are 5 to 6 times more likely than other children to become delinquent."

Friends Outside is changing the world for the better by showing love in extraordinary ways to an otherwise forgotten group of people.
