My tip for this month is, "be present." I know how hectic this time of year can be for many people. Often the holidays are seen as something to be survived when really they are for spending time with the ones you love. So show love and respect to the people around you by giving attention to the current situation instead of thinking about all the things you need to do, or where you'd rather be. Be present.

The non-profit of the month is Habitat for Humanity. I'm sure you've got some idea of what they do but read it for yourself at habitat.org. Having trouble finding a gift for the person who has everything? Well give them the gift of helping others by purchasing "a gift from the heart" from Habitat for Humanity.
