Rachael Yamagata is the featured artist for August. I was listening to some obscure station on my folks' satellite television over a year ago and I heard this breathy, yet intense voice sing out the words, "If I could take you away..." and I was hooked. I bought both Happenstance and her KCRW live session off of iTunes and must say they are worth every penny.
