Sorry for the late post...the first of this month just slipped right by me!

India.Arie is the featured artist for September.
I will never forget the first time I heard India sing. I was sitting in the hall of my freshman year dorm talking on the phone with a dear friend from high school and she played "Ready for Love" into her phone and even through the static, I was hooked. India consistently makes music that is interesting, thought provoking and positive. "Strength, Courage, and Wisdom" is one of those songs to carry with you throughout life.

My brother-in-law's projects are all funded...thanks for the support! You can see some of what is going on at the Pechela school in Lesotho by going to my bro-in-law's youtube page.

One of my friends from college has been telling me amazing things about Musicians On Call, so even though I've dedicated the rest of this year's donations to helping out the school in Lesotho, I've decided to donate to Musicians On Call for a couple of months as well just because I am a believer in the power of music. According to its website Musicians On Call is a non-profit organization that "uses music to promote and complement the healing process for patients, familes and caregivers."
Please check it out, learn how you can get involved, be sure to watch the video!
